Diane Krasner Named New Clinical Editor for WoundSource

HINESBURG, Vt., Apr. 13, 2009 / -- Kestrel Health Information, Inc. announces the appointment of Diane L. Krasner, PhD, RN, CWCN, CWS, BCLNC, FAAN, as Clinical Editor of WoundSource, according to publisher Jeanne M. Cunningham.
“We are tremendously excited to have Dr. Krasner, one of the most innovative and leading thinkers in wound care, working with us,” Cunningham said.
In addition to participating on the editorial board for WoundSource, Dr. Krasner is co-editor of Chronic Wound Care: A Clinical Source Book for Healthcare Professionals (2007). She has also served as an officer for several wound care organizations including The American Academy of Wound Management and The Association for the Advancement of Wound Care.

As the Clinical Editor for WoundSource, Dr. Krasner’s role will be to maintain and verify adherence to the existing organizational structures for categorizing products, as well as create new structures when necessary.

WoundSource: The Kestrel Wound Product Sourcebook is a comprehensive guide of reviewed wound care products developed to serve as a reference tool for all prescribers, buyers and specifiers of wound care products. Product data is collected and organized in a way that helps users quickly evaluate and compare products.
